Big holiday events set for Sunday, Dec. 6

There’s a full slate of holiday activities coming your way on Sunday Dec. 6. The annual events sponsored by the Tama-Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce include the popular lighted parade and much more.
Here’s the schedule:
7 a.m. – 12Noon – Pancake breakfast at Reinig-Toledo Civic Center sponsored by Tama and Toledo Firefighters
1 p.m.- “God’s Kids Puppets” by Living Faith United Methodist Church of Tama
2-3 p.m. – Decorate ornaments and pictures with Santa
3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.- Pictures with your pet and Santa – Pamida
5 p.m. – Line up by Middle School in Toledo for parade
5:30 p.m. – Lighted Parade in Toledo
6 p.m. – Chili Supper at Reinig-Toledo Civic Center fundraiser for STC Music Boosters
Cookies and Hot Chocolate will be available during the Parade downtown Toledo
Contest during the Chili Supper and lots of prizes:
Ugliest ornament contest – bring ugly ornament to Reinig by noon on Dec. 6 Label with your name. Vote by coins during the chili supper with proceeds going to the South Tama Food Pantry
Ho Ho Ho Contest – Men and Women during the Chili Supper – prizes to winners
