The Tama-Toledo Area Branch of American Association of University Women (AAUW) will again sell holiday Christmas garland.   Garland will be available to homes and businesses and will be delivered.

Garland will be brought to homes and businesses the week of Thanksgiving. AAUW appreciates all community members who in the past years have supported the fund raising project. It has enabled AAUW to fund many projects that benefit young girls, women and the community.

The continued High School Young Women of the Year has become a popular annual event that recognizes local Tama County high school seniors.

This will be the second year that AAUW will be involved in supporting “Latinas al Exito,” a program mentoring South Tama 8th grade Hispanic girls.
