As promised as you can see The Tama-Toledo News Chronicle updated website makes its first appearance today as the consolidation of The Tama News-Herald and Toledo Chronicle.

Founded in 1853,

The Chronicle has been the mainstay newspaper of the Tama County seat for 167 years. The Tama Herald took over the operation of The Tama Citizen which was founded in 1866 then consolidated with The Tama News.

Now these publications have been joined to provide The News Chronicle to be delivered each Friday.

We look forward to many more years of service to the Tama and Toledo communities.
