AMES The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking public input regarding the state public participation process for transportation planning. In carrying out the statewide planning process, including development of the statewide transportation plan and transportation programs, the state has developed a public involvement process that provides opportunities for public comment and review at key decision points.

The Iowa DOT will be accepting public comments on the process through Nov. 15. You can view the document online at iowadot.gov/program_management/StatePublicParticipationProcess.pdf.
