The State Bank of Toledo will always be an anchor to the Tama-Toledo communities. This year marks its 90th year in business since opening in April, 1927. The bank has proved its position in the community by supporting its customers with loyal, friendly, and fair customer service. In commemorating the event, The State Bank of Toledo wishes to highlight its staff for their dedication to making a difference in the community.

According to State Bank of Toledo President, John Kavalier, “The employees really are the bank and it is through their hard work that we are able to promote the community in the way that we do.” The staff is doing just that by reaching a group milestone of over 1,000 hours of volunteerism at events that matter to our community. You will see State Bank of Toledo staff involved in local government, boards, clubs, and church organizations such as Kiwanis, PEO, Tama-Toledo Chamber, Daycare Board, STC Recreational Program, City Council, Planning & Zoning, STC Boosters, Wieting Theatre events, Tama County Historical Museum, and various Church affiliations.

Each year, State Bank of Toledo monetarily contributes to countless causes, events, and scholarships which benefit our youth, numerous organizations, and the entire community. However, it is proof that the helping hands of their staff show the true commitment of State Bank of Toledo to the community.

State Bank of Toledo kicks off a list of special products and events this year to commemorate its 90 years in business with a 9-month Anniversary CD for a limited time (see ad for details).

In addition, Friday, May 19, at the Toledo Farmers Market, State Bank of Toledo is sponsoring the Tama County Cattlemen serving the first 500 people free burgers & chips.

The Tama County Pork Producers are slated for this summer along with the launch of other products and events with times yet to be determined.

The culmination of their celebration will be a pork loin dinner at the Reinig-Toledo Civic Center, scheduled for Sept. 28, 2017. The community is welcome to join in celebrating their success at all events! Please watch for more details.

Congratulations State Bank of Toledo on their first 90 years of serving the community!
