Meskwaki Nation, RedWind partner to host Native American Entrepreneurial Workshop
RedWind is reported thrilled to hold its next workshop, hosted by the Economic Development Department of the Sac and Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Iowa (Meskwaki Nation).
This small business development workshop will be provided at the Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel, 1504 305th Street, in the Meskwaki Veterans Convention Center – Red Earth Room in Tama, Iowa on Monday, July 11 and Tuesday, July 12th, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
All Native entrepreneurs are invited to attend and strongly encouraged to register for this free two-day course for small business development. The training workshop will benefit anyone who operates or is considering operating a small business.
This workshop, one of (15) RedWind will hold this year, will cover business concepts indispensable for anyone starting up or running a small business. Instructors will also identify and help participants avoid common pitfalls.
The training will provide comprehensive information on topics important to aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners related to business planning, access to capital, basic bookkeeping, human resources, problem solving and marketing a small business.
RedWind will present this training, partnering with the Meskwaki Nation Economic Development Department.
The event is free to attend and open to the public. All class materials and refreshments will be provided to participants at no cost.
