A bridge deck replacement project over Twelve Mile Creek in Tama County will require closing U.S. 63 to traffic between Iowa 8 and Tama County Road D-65 beginning Monday, July 25, until Friday, Oct. 21, weather permitting, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Marshalltown construction office.

Motorists will be detoured around the project using Iowa 8, Iowa 21, Black Hawk County Road D-52, and U.S. 63.
