This past holiday season, Shopko Hometown collected signatures from customers as part of its Help Us Give Back initiative, a program that was run in all 219 store locations across the country. Customers could sign up between December 1 – December 24 and for every signature, the Shopko Foundation donated $1 (up to $2,000).
Thanks to the community’s support, the Shopko Foundation will donate $2000 to the South Tama County Community School District.
“Communities are built on the foundation of a strong education system, which is why Shopko Hometown is proud to support schools in the communities we are privileged to serve,” said Peter McMahon, Shopko CEO.
