The popular winter Chili Cook-Off Contest is set for Saturday night, Jan. 16, at John Ernest Vineyard and Winery, rural Tama.

The event gets underway at 5:30 p.m.

Attendees will enjoy a bowl of DeDe’s famous chili, a drink, dessert bars and sample and judge the contestant’s chili entires.

John Ernest is located three miles east of Tama on U.S. Highway 30.
