For over 25 years, the Tama-Toledo Branch of AAUW (American Association of University Women) has sold holiday garland, purchased from the Belle Plaine Nursery, to local residents and businesses. In the past, commercial properties on the bustling main streets of both towns would be festooned with the garland between Thanksgiving and New Year’s. Profits from the sale of this greenery funded programs and events which benefitted students and adults in the community.

Regretfully, the local AAUW branch members have decided to discontinue the sale of garland due to a number of factors. AAUW wishes to express heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all of those loyal customers who supported this fundraiser by purchasing and displaying our holiday garland for years.
