Iowa Premium Beef has announced an official name change to Iowa Premium, effective immediately.

The company’s direction, ownership, and executive leadership team have not changed during this transition.

Iowa Premium continues to be the premier source of high quality, family farm raised, Black Angus beef. The company is dedicated to supporting the local community and economy, partnering exclusively with family feeder farms in the area, a news release said.

The plant opened in November, 2014, and employs more than 600 in Tama.
