Premier Estates of Toledo has made a commitment to give something back to the community each and every month; whether it be donation or assisting at an event. The staff and residents of Premier Estates of Toledo, will join together to help the community the best way we can.

Just to give you a few ideas of our plans: In January we volunteered three times at the concession stand at a boys’ basketball game, a girls’ basketball game and a wrestling meet. Plus we have signed up to sponsor one week’s worth of ads for the Tama County Humane Shelter each month.

In February we will be holding a supply drive for the Tama County Humane Shelter. Some of the supplies that the Humane Shelter is in need of are: scoop-able cat litter, canned cat food, dog collars, cat toys, dog toys, rawhide chews or pig ear chews, bleach, dish soap, laundry soap, Mr. Clean, paper towels, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, printer paper, business envelopes, postage stamps. If you would like to help us, help the Tama County Humane Shelter, contact us at 641-484-5080 or stop by at 403 Grandview Dr. in Toledo between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday Friday and drop of your items. Also in February, we are serving a Youth Meal before their evening service on Ash Wednesday.

In February and March we will be holding a can & bottle drive to raise money for the After-Prom Committee. Contact Premier Estates at 641-484-5080 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to bring in your cans & bottles and help the students of South Tama County raise money for their After-Prom Celebration.

In March during the Lepbarchaun Dash we will set up a banana table, to provide some much needed potassium, for the competitors after the 5K. We will also be holding a food drive for the Tama County Food Pantry. Once again, contact us at 641-484-5080 or drop off your non-perishable food items at 403 Grandview Dr. in Toledo and we will transport them to the Tama County Food Pantry. We will be holding an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 21at 10:00 a.m. on our lawn. Rain date will be the following Saturday, March 28 same time.

In April we are sponsoring a community wide blood drive in the common area of the Village Apartments at Premier Estates of Toledo.
