“I grew up using computers,” Ryan Hansen, owner of RMH Technology in Toledo said last week. That “growing up” is being put to good use.
Ryan and his wife, Maggie, bought Innovative Communications from Dave Perkins in November of last year. Perkins’ business had been a mainstay of computer sales and repairs in the area since it was expanded here from Marshalltown. The new RMH Technology business continues to be located at 107 West High in downtown Toledo.
The Hansens offer computer repair and upgrades with both on-site and in shop service work. New computers are also available and Ryan can build computers to fit the needs of all customers.
“Viruses and slow computers – everyday there’s something new,” Ryan said. “Everyday I’m keeping up on the latest viruses.”
He said his experience is a combination of what he has learned since getting involved with computers in high school and work and training at the Staples Store in Marshalltown. He worked there until it closed last year.
“That’s when I got the opportunity from Dave,” Ryan said.
RMH Technology is open 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and Ryan is usually at the shop on Saturday. If coming in, he said it is a good idea to call the business (641-484-4880) to make sure he is there. He said he is in and out making service calls throughout the day.
