Do you have a talent or special skill? Do you like performing? This year the first ever Tama-Toledo Talent and Variety Show will be coming to Footloose Friday!

Sponsored by the Tama Toledo Chamber of Commerce, the Show will be held at the Tama City Park on Aug. 1, beginning at 6 pm. Judges with expertise in singing, dancing and other talents will be on hand, and prizes will be awarded in all categories.

Contestants ages 2-12 will be in the “Mini” division, ages 13 21 will be in the “Junior” division, and ages 22 and up will be in the “Senior” division. This event is free for performers and open to the public.

Each act will have approximately three minutes to perform. In order to keep on schedule for the evening, we have to limit the number of performers in each category. They will be on a first come, first serve basis so sign up early!

We will have a dress rehearsal a few days beforehand.

Chamber members are very excited to bring this new event to the community. Get out and see all of the amazing talent we have right here at home.
