TOLEDO CHRONICLE- The Strobusch Family, owners of Designer Inn and Suites in Toledo, have opened a second hotel location, the Best Western Designer Inn and Suites in Galena, Ill. The hotel is located on Highway 20, one-half mile from downtown Galena.

They opened their hotel in Toledo in December of 2003 and opened the Galena location some seven-plus years later.

Gary Strobusch, the designer of the fantasy suites, is also bringing his talent to the new location in Galena. The first two fantasy suites have been constructed and are now open in that location. 

You can relax in the elegant and sophisticated Roman Palace suite, where you can experience the majestic side of Rome, or inspire love and romance by spending a night in the Heart’s Delight suite complete with a heart-shaped bed and an oversized heart-shaped whirlpool. 

Each of the suites feature a two-person whirlpool with water and air jets, as well as submerged mood lighting, large deluxe showers with multiple showerheads and body sprays, gas fireplace, 46” flat screen TV with Blu-Ray DVD player, sitting area, vanity area, microwave and refrigerator.

Next to be constructed is the famous Crystal Cave suite. There will be more suites constructed during the remaining months of 2011 and then 2012.    

Every inch of Gary’s rooms is utilized in a unique way to add to the theme. This includes the hand painted molded walls, the hand formed sinks, counters and his signature starlight valances. There are many other subtle nuances added to each and every room, but its is left for guests to find.There are many reasons why he creates these, but to him it is a labor of love, that he wishes to share with all of you.      

 The Best Western Designer Inn and Suites has undergone many upgrades and each spacious room features a large sitting area. Each room also comes complete with a refrigerator, microwave, cable satellite television with Showtime, coffee pot, hairdryer and high-speed internet access. Many rooms have a balcony or patio.
