Four things to know from Monday’s Toledo city council meeting

The Council approved the second payment to D.W. Zinser Company Inc for demolishing the former Iowa Juvenile Home totaling $123,737.50.
A public hearing was held for the proposed Fiscal Year 2024 budget, after the hearing, the Council approved the budget certification for the Tama County Auditor.
The Council approved the purchase of a new street sweeper totaling $274,973. The new street sweeper will arrive approximately by July 2023.
The City accepted claims totaling $167,501.27 from Jan. 10-23.
