The Council reviewed the 2022 Fiscal Year audit with Chris Nelson of Kyhnn & Co., P.C.

Julie Winter of Region 6 presented three projects to the Council that will be covered by the 5-2-1-0 Grant; two-bay swing set replacement in Toledo Heights Park, trail signage and mileage markers at South Tama Rec Trail, and two benches on South Tama Rec Trail. The Council approved all three projects. Julie Winters will be submitting the full 20 Project plan for both Tama and Toledo to the Iowa Dept. of Public Health for approval before funds can be distributed, and projects can begin in the area.

Resolution #2022-45 to increase plot rates at Woodland Cemetary was approved. Spaces of 48″ have been increased to $500 effective 1/1/2023. A full detailed list of plot rate changes can be found on the City’s website.
