TOLEDO CHRONICLE- The Tama County Emergency Management Agency and the Tama County E-911 Service are hosting a community open house – education session.

It will be at the Tama County Board of Supervisors Chambers on Sept. 13, 6-6:45 p.m.

The session will cover topics including:

*Tama County Emergency Management Agency

*Tama County E-911

*How and when to call 911

*What information 911 dispatchers will need when you call

*How to be prepared in your own home or business

*Tama County’s CodeRED system

*How to register for CodeRED

*Information on how to volunteer with the county or with your local fire / ems

Snacks and beverages will be available.

A second session covering the same ttopics will be offered on Sept. 14 in Traer.
