HVAAA Senior Meal Program

TOLEDO CHRONICLE

The week of Feb. 2-6, 130 meals were delivered in Tama and Toledo.

Living Faith Methodist Church delivered 81 meals in Tama. Making deliveries were Larry and Charlotte Eisentrager, Mary Schultz, Ginny Shover, George and Ethel Rosenberger, Don and Marie Wacha, Vera Fuller and Bonnie Morrow.

Toledo Womens Club delivered 49 meals in Toledo. Those volunteers were Earlene Bacon, Don and Karen Havren, Ann McMullin, Dorothy Vest, Marlene Eernisse and Frank and Florris Adair.

The week of Feb. 9-13, 125 meals were delivered in Tama and Toledo.

The Eagles Auxiliary delivered 83 meals in Tama. Those working were Andy and Verona Suchanek, Margaret and Tim Youngbear and Carleen Corum.

Christ United Methodist Church delivered 42 meals in Toledo. Making deliveries were Judy and Richard Dunsmoor, Chris and Quentin McCune, Earlene Bacon, Marlene Eernisse and Frank and Florris Adair.

Music for our birthday dinner on Wed., Feb. 11 was provided by Frank and Marcie Nekola and Gerry Campbell.

The week of Feb. 16-20, 130 meals were delivered in Tama and Toledo.

The Career Development Center delivered 83 meals in Tama. Those volunteers were Missy Massengale, Teresa Vodochodsky, Vince Boyer, John Stalzer, Todd Rank, Mandy Emke, Michelle Kubik and Kody Risse.

The PEO delivered 47 meals in Toledo. Those working were Becky Heeran, Charlene Kenkel, Bill and Becky Gary, Jan Bolls, Dallynn Hotchkiss, Clyde and Jerry Bearden and Polly Hineman.

Music for our Valentines dinner on Thurs., Feb. 19 was provided by Herschell Brown, Peggy Shenkle and Phil Gould. Their music was enjoyed by everyone.

The week of Feb. 23-27, 134 meals were delivered in Tama and Toledo.

The Career Development Center delivered 85 meals in Tama. Making deliveries were Teresa Vodochodsky, Vince Boyer, Kody Risse, Dara Wiese, Dawn Bailey, Todd Rank, Michelle Kubik, Mike Callahan, Bill Boyer and John Stalzer.

The Toledo Legion delivered 49 meals in Toledo. Those working were Bob and Virginia Benda, Lois and Pat Patterson, Earl McCreary and Eveline and Gene Hixson.

Sharon Shouse delivered 164 frozen meals to Gladbrook and Garwin. Jack Williams and Rev. Seth delivered 32 Congregate Hot Meals to Montour. Tama Toledo and Traer received 370 frozen meals.

Volunteers for the month of Feb. were Bev Graff, Marlene Dolezal, Helen Hruby, Mildred Backen, Mavis Bachman and Nancy Blocker, Tama County Senior Services Coordinator.
