TAMA NEWS-HERALD -Start now by donating an item of value to the first silent auction being used to help the Tama Library buy books.

Everyone is affected by the economy, and the library is no exception. Bring your items to the library where you will leave your name, contact information, and what you believe to be a minimum bid on the item.

On Wednesday, Oct.13, attend the silent auction from 6-9 p.m. in the large room at the Tama Civic Center. You can make your bid and the highest bidder will be awarded the item.

Remember-if you contribute an item that is purchased at the auction, you will receive a receipt to be used as a charitable deduction on your taxes.

Help your library, donate an item, and make a purchase at the silent auction!!!

The library needs your support. Also, there will be door prizes for those who attend the auction, so don’t miss out on the fun and the chance to HELP.
