Mike Marquess and Bethany Currie, Marshalltown, are proud to announce the birth of their son James Michael Marquess.

He was born Oct. 3, 2009, at 12:54 a.m. in Marshalltown. He weighed 6 pounds 5 ounces and was 19 inches long. He was welcomed home by his big sister Lily.

His grandparents are Mark and Donna Marquess, Rock Island, Ill. Robin Currie and Bob Beeching, Glen Ellyn, Ill. and Bruce Currie, Hoffman Estates, Ill.
