Esther Timm

In honor of Esther Timms’ 90th birthday an open house will be held 2-4 p.m. on Sept. 29, 2013, in the social room of The State Bank of Toledo.

Esther, daughter of Herman and Leona Hobson Schmutte, was born Oct. 12, 1923, at Adams, Neb. She graduated from Tama High School in 1941. She married Glen Timm on April 7, 1945, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. They farmed the family farm south of Tama until retirement when they moved to Toledo.
