Arrest Report – Tama County Jail

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Thursday, Oct. 26

Bostyn Richard Doyle (20) of Tama was arrested for three counts of violation of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department in Toledo.

Jeremy Steven Smith (42) of Deep River was arrested for violation of probation and a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department in Toledo. He was released Oct. 28 on bond.

Kenneth Alan Fulmer (65) of Toledo was arrested on two warrants for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department in Toledo. He was released Nov. 2 on bond.

Theresa Lin Handsaker (55) of Grinnell was arrested on an out of county/state warrant by the Toledo Police Department in Toledo.

Leigha Irene Welch (31) of Toledo was arrested on a warrant for felony forgery by the Toledo Police Department in Toledo.

Friday, Oct. 27

Kane Logan Jackson-Minser (22) of Marshalltown was arrested for OWI — first offense by the Meskwaki Tribal Police in Tama. He was released the following day on a promise to appear.

Saturday, Oct. 28

Michael Robert Vest (41) of Tama was arrested for public intoxication, attempted burglary third, and third degree harassment by the Toledo Police Department. He was also charged with OWI — first offense, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, failure to provide proof of financial liability insurance and registration violation by the Tama Police Department. He was granted pretrial release the same day.

Sunday, Oct. 29

Cody Dean Wheeler (29) of Tama was arrested for operation without ignition interlock, OWI — third offense and driving while license suspended by the Meskwaki Tribal Police in Toledo. He was released the same day on a promise to appear.

Adam James Needs (50), no known address, was arrested on an out of county/state warrant by the Toledo Police Department in Tama. He was shipped out the same day.

James Garrett Roberts Jr. (23) of Tama was arrested for public intoxication and trespass first offense by the Tama Police Department in Tama. He was released the following day on a promise to appear.

Jeremy Fuentes (21) of Marshalltown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department in Toledo.

Rene Ruben Mesias (69) of Toledo was arrested on a warrant for assault with bodily injury by the Meskwaki Tribal Police and the Toledo Police Department.

Monday, Oct. 30

Samantha Marie Roeder (33) of Tama was arrested on three warrants for failure to appear, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, driving under suspension and a warrant by the Meskwaki Tribal Police in Tama. She was also arrested for third degree theft by the Toledo Police Department in Toledo. She was released on bond the following day.

Tuesday, Oct. 31

James Garrett Roberts Jr. (23) of Tama was arrested for public intoxication and fifth degree theft by the Tama Police Department in Tama. He was released the following day.

Wednesday, Nov. 1

Randall Scott Wilkening (59) of Marshalltown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department in Toledo. He was released on a promise to appear the following day.
