Arrest Report – Tama County Jail

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Thursday, Aug. 31

Koffi Vivien Tengue (21) was arrested for driving while barred, driving under suspension, failure to provide proof of financial liability insurance and speeding by the Meskwaki Tribal Police in Montour. He was released on his own recognizance the same day.

Megan Marie Novotny (38) of Garwin was arrested for simulating public intoxication first by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department in Garwin.

Hunter Lane Hale (18) of Tama was arrested for public intoxication by the Toledo Police Department in Toledo. He was released the following day after pleading guilty.

Friday, Sept. 1

David Clifton Nathaniel (53) of Des Moines was arrested for public intoxication by the Meskwaki Tribal Police in Tama. He was released the following day after pleading guilty.

Stephen Robert McLaren (69) of Dysart was arrested for OWI — second offense by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department in Dysart. He was granted pretrial release the following day.

Natalie Jean Purdy (25) of Marshalltown was arrested for violating a no-contact order — domestic by the Meskwaki Tribal Police in Montour. She was released on her own recognizance the following day.

Saturday, Sept. 2

Jolene Alyce Davenport (47) of Tama was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear by the Meskwaki Tribal Police in Toledo. She was released on her own recognizance on Sept. 7.

Sharissa Sue Wolf (43) of Toledo was arrested for violation of probation by the DCS in Toledo. She was released the following day on bond.

Barth Edward Walter (54) of Chelsea was arrested for domestic assault choking/bodily injury by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department in Chelsea. He was released Sept. 8 on bond.

Edwin Levi Casillas (24) of Des Moines was arrested for OWI — first offense, carrying a weapon while intoxicated and speeding. He was released the following day on his own recognizance.

Sunday, Sept. 3

Jorge Figueroa (28) of Tama was arrested for public intoxication by the Tama Police Department in Tama. He was released the following day after pleading guilty.

Monday, Sept. 4

Amber Nicole Hinegardner (28) of Tama was arrested for OWI — second offense by the Tama Police Department in Tama. She was granted pretrial release the same day.

Tuesday, Sept. 5

Victor Manuel Gonzalez-Calderon (44) of Marshalltown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department in Toledo.

Barth Edward Watler (54) of Chelsea was arrested for violation of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department in Toledo. He was released Sept. 8 on bond.

Wednesday, Sept. 6

Ashly Vazquez (21) of Tama was arrested for fifth degree theft by the Tama Police Department in Tama.

Nicky F. Mendoza (33) of Tama was arrested for fifth degree theft by the Tama Police Department in Tama.

Ruth Alma Stevens (55) of Newton was arrested for false imprisonment and assault with bodily injury by the Meskwaki Tribal Police in Tama. She was granted pretrial release the following day.
