Arrest Report – Tama County Jail

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

May 17

Logun Lee Freese, 22, of Tama was arrested by the Tama Police Department for possession of a controlled substance. Freese was released on his own recognizance the next day.

Courtney Lynn Ceaser, 23, of Tama was arrested by the Toledo Police Department for sponsoring or promoting a meeting, gathering or assemblage with the knowledge or intent that controlled substances would be distributed, used or possessed. Ceaser was released the same day on bond.

Skyler Joseph Steuhm, 23, of Tama was arrested by the Tama Police Department for sponsoring or promoting a meeting, gathering or assemblage with the knowledge or intent that controlled substances would be distributed, used or possessed, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and manufacturing, delivery or possession of counterfeit substances, simulated controlled substances or imitation controlled substances. Steuhm was released the next day on a pre-trial release.

May 18

Cuong Hung Huynh, 58, of Waterloo was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for failing to appear in court.

Cody Allan Hand, 28, of Tama was arrested by the Toledo Police Department for possession of controlled substances and for felony D violation of controlled substance. Hand was released the next day on a pre-trial release.

May 19

Dustin Allen Schroeder, 33, of Tama was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for failing to appear in court. Schroeder was released the same day on bond.

Victor Marcos, 41, of Tama was arrested by the Tama Police Department for public intoxication. Marcos was released the next day after pleading guilty.

May 20

Santiago Saquic Xirum, 29, of Tama was arrested by the Toledo Police Department for OWI (first offense), failing to provide proof of financial liability, having no valid drivers license, speeding, and failing to meet window or windshield requirements. Xirum was released the same day on his own recognizance.

Joyce Ann Williams, 28, of Des Moines was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police on a warrant for failing to appear in court, two charges of conspiring to commit a non force felony and nine charges of felony forgery. Williams was released the next day on a surety bond.

Derek J Hutchinson, 33, of Tama was arrested by the Tama Police Department for violation of a domestic no contact order. Hutchinson was released the next day for agreeing to appear in court on his own behalf.

May 21

Eleazar Cruz-Lopez, 30, of Tama was arrested by the Tama Police Department for public intoxication.

May 22

Bradley Allen Nichol, 18, of Marshalltown was arrested by the Toledo Police Department for OWI (first offense), having an improper registration plate lamp, failing to provide proof of financial liability, and not having a valid drivers license. Nichol was released the same day for agreeing to appear in court on her own behalf.

Marinda Ann Kadera, 36, of Chelsea was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department for driving while barred. Kadera was released the same day on a surety bond.

Lane Andrew Williams, 25, of Toledo was arrested by the Toledo Police Department for OWI (first offense), driver’s license being denied or revoked and driving with a suspended license. Williams was released the next day on a pre-trial release.

May 23

Ashley Ruth Johnson, 39, of Tama was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for failing to appear in court. Johnson was released on the same day on a surety bond.
