Arrest Report – Tama County Jail

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

May 10

Teresa Kay Spencer, 57, of Garwin was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department on four warrants for failing to appear in court. Spencer was released the same day under her own recognizance.

Rehana Hernandez, 49, of Tama was arrested by the Tama Police Department for forgery/theft of a lottery ticket and fourth degree theft. Hernandez was released the next day under her own recognizance.

May 11

Miguel Angel Salgado, 29, of Toledo was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department for violation of conditional pretrial release.

Keelan Cody Walker, 39, of Tama was arrested by the Tama Police Department for public intoxication, disorderly conduct and trespassing (first offense). Walker was released the next day for agreeing to come to court on his own behalf.

May 12

Tyshawn Akeem Bryant, 31, of Toledo was arrested by the Toledo Police Department for driving under suspension, failing to provide proof of financial liability and OWI (first offense). Bryant was released the same day under his own recognizance.

Rebecca Marie Phillips, 38, of Traer was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department for domestic assault resulting in bodily injury. Phillips was released the same day under her own recognizance.

Brodie Lee Doyle-Clark, 25, of Tama was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department on three warrants, two violations of probation, violation of conditional pretrial release, violation of controlled substances, four counts of unlawful possession of prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, a prohibited act while being restrained, false report during a 911 call, interference with an official act and introducing contraband to a secure facility. Doyle-Clark was released the same day on bond.

David Sebastian Riness, 28, of Tama was arrested by the Tama Police Department for public intoxication, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Riness was released the next day on a pretrial release.

May 13

Austin Mario Garcia Shoemaker, 27, of Toledo was arrested by the Tama Police Department on a warrant and sexual abuse in the third degree.

Jayden Lawrence Cowan, 21, of Garwin was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department for domestic abuse resulting in bodily injury, obstruction of emergency communication and child endangerment. Cowan was released the next day on a pretrial release.

Simon Lee Buffalo, 41, of Tama was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police on a warrant for failing to appear in court.

Andrew Martin Lynn, 29, of Dysart was arrested by the Dysart Police Department for public intoxication. Lynn was released the next day after pleading guilty.

May 14

Johnathan James Mason, 27, of Ackley was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department for violation of probation.

Andrew William Cannon, 37, of Traer was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant and domestic assault resulting in bodily injury. Cannon was released the same day under his own recognizance.

May 15

Miguel Lazo, 28, of Toledo was arrested by the Toledo Police Department for public intoxication. Lazo was released the next day on a pretrial release.

May 16

Michael Allen Small, 57, of Garwin was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department for eight counts of child endangerment, domestic assault resulting in bodily injury and a warrant. Small was released on May 18 on a surety bond.

Jessica Marie Bear, 30, of Tama was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department for violation of a domestic no contact order. Bear was released the next day after pleading guilty.
