Arrest Report – Tama County Jail

May 3 – May 9, 2022

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

May 3

Anthony Joseph Mahler, 57, of Iowa City was arrested by the Toledo Police Department for OWI (first offense) and driving or towing an unsafe or improperly equipped vehicle. Mahler was released the same day under his own recognizance.

James Dayan Papakee, 23, of Tama was arrested by the Toledo Police Department on a warrant, and providing false identification to a public service official. Papakee was released the same day after pleading guilty.

Tammy Kay Munson, 54, of Belle Plaine was arrested by the Toledo Police Department for OWI (second offense), failing to provide proof of financial liability and operating a non registered vehicle.

John Randall Youngbear, 34, of Tama was arrested by the Tama Police Department on a warrant, child endangerment without injury, and assault with intent to severely injure.

May 5

Marie Dawn Shirk, 35, of Buckingham was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department for OWI (first offense), operating a motor vehicle without a registration plate and not having a valid drivers license. Shirk was released the same day under her own recognizance.

Kyle Dawson Davenport, 41, of Tama was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant. Davenport was released the next day by order of the court.

Cynthia Kay Mcsweeney, 64, of Tama was arrested by the Tama Police Department for six counts of tampering, coercion or fraudulent lottery tickets, six counts of forged or theft of lottery tickets and committing ongoing criminal conduct. Mcsweeney was released the next day by order of the court.

Juan Gomez, 35, of Tama was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s department on a warrant for failing to appear in court. Gomez was released the next day on bond.

May 6

Juliette Marie Allen, 40, of Cedar Rapids was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant.

John Randall Youngbear, 34, of Tama was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department for violation of parole.

Joshua Charles Patterson, 38, of Marshalltown was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for failing to appear in court. Patterson was released the next day on a pre-trial release.

May 7

Eric Eugene Climer, 25, of Toledo was arrested by the Toledo Police Department for OWI (first offense), and excessively dark windows or windshield. Climer was released the same day under his own recognizance.

Logan Steven Moody, 22, of Vinton was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department for second degree theft, and third degree burglary. Moody was released the next day on a surety bond.

Willie Lee Bledsoe, 40, of Keystone was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police for possession of a controlled substance. Bledsoe was released the same day under his own recognizance.

Jessica Marie Bear, 30, of Tama was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department on eight counts of child endangerment, violation of a mediation agreement and domestic abuse assault. Bear was released the next day under her own recognizance.

May 8

Brodie Lee Doyle-Clark, 25, of Tama was arrested by the Tama Police Department for reporting false information during a 911 call, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, interfering with an official act and manufacturing, distributing or dispense of a controlled substance to another registrant. Doyle-Clark was released the same day on a pre-trial release.

Miguel Angel Salgado, 29, of Toledo was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department on three warrants for failing to appear in court.

May 9

Andrew Dillon Clayton, 29, of Chelsea was arrested by the Tama Police Department for four counts of fifth degree theft, five counts of unauthorized use of a credit card, theft in the fourth degree and ongoing criminal conduct. Clayton was released the next day on his own recognizance.

Jason Michael Howell, 47, of Gladbrook was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for failing to appear in court and violation of a domestic no contact order. Howell was released on May 11 on his own recognizance.
