Arrest Report – Tama County Jail

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Jan. 21

Slayne Matthew Rayman, 39, of Elberon was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

Jan. 22

Stacy Renee Kapayou, 44, of Tama was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office for violation of probation.

Megan Marie Walker, 30, of Tama was arrested by Tama Police for public intoxication, disorderly conduct (threat) and trespassing (1st offense). Walker was released on Jan. 23 after pleading guilty.

Jan. 23

David Christopher Stasch, 45, of Marshalltown was arrested by Meskwaki Police on a warrant for tampering with a smoke detector, gathering where controlled substances are being used and for possession of a controlled substance. Stasch was released on Jan. 23.

Jan. 24

Christopher David Staats, 33 of Waterloo was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office for driving while barred. Staats was released on his own recognizance on Jan. 24.

Mina Annabeth Youngbear, 25, of Toledo was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office for violation of probation.

John David Henderson, 39, of Montour was arrested by Toledo Police for eluding law enforcement, OWI (1st offense), theft (2nd degree), criminal mischief (2nd degree), driving under suspension, failure to provide proof of financial liability and failure to obey stop/yield sign.

Jan. 25

Caleb Conrad Hammer, 31, of Boone was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office for violation of probation.

Ruben Edward Hughes, 40, was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear in court.

Terry Lee Echols, 48, of Gladbrook was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office for violation of a no contact order. Echols was released on Jan. 26 on bond.

Jan. 27

Darrell Desha Jordan, 22, of Marshalltown was arrested by Toledo Police for 2nd degree theft (between $1,500-$10,000) and 5th degree theft ($300 or less).

Kathleen Amber Dolan, 29, of Marshalltown was arrested by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office on warrants for eluding law enforcement, reckless driving, driving under suspension, unsafe passing, failure to obey stop/yield signs and for speeding.

COURT NEWS

John David Henderson, 39, of Montour made an initial appearance in custody before the district court on Jan. 25 on charges including one count of eluding-injury/OWI/drugs or participate in a felony (Class D felony), one count of theft-2nd degree (Class D felony), one count of criminal mischief-2nd degree (Class D felony), and one count of operating while under the influence-1st offense (serious misdemeanor). According to the criminal complaint, on Jan. 24, 2022, Henderson allegedly was operating a motor vehicle that had been stolen earlier in the night. Henderson was allegedly operating said vehicle on US 63 N while under the influence of alcohol and attempting to elude a marked Toledo Police Dept. patrol vehicle with emergency lights and siren activated. Henderson allegedly exceeded the speed limit by 25 miles per hour before crashing into an unoccupied structure located in the 700 block of S County Road in Toledo, wrecking the vehicle. Henderson is being held on a $5,000.00 cash only bond. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 1 at 9:00 a.m. Henderson is being represented by attorney Scott Hunter of Marshalltown Public Defender’s Office.

William Joseph Sisco, 76, of Toledo entered a written arraignment and a plea of not guilty in district court on Jan. 27 to charges including one count of going armed with intent (Class D felony), two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon (aggravated misdemeanor), and one count of harassment in the first degree (aggravated misdemeanor). Charges stem from an incident that took place on Dec. 21, 2021, in a Toledo apartment complex parking lot/garage. According to the criminal complaint, Sisco was allegedly angry about the victim’s pickup truck’s loud exhaust and confronted the victim in the parking lot while holding a knife and a hammer. Sisco is alleged to have threatened to stab the victim while smashing the truck’s windshield and both headlights. A warrant was issued for Sisco’s arrest. A no contact order was issued by the district court for the victim on Dec. 24, 2021. Sisco has waived his right to a speedy trial. A jury trial is set for May 9, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. Sisco is being represented by Scott Hunter of Marshalltown Public Defender’s Office.
