MARSHALLTOWN (SPECIAL) – The Marshalltown Community College Student Activities Council is sponsoring a free concert by comedian Jay Black on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the MCC Student Union, Room 303. Jay Black has gone from entertaining high school English students in a New Jersey classroom to providing belly-aching laughter in comedy clubs and on the college circuit.

Black was nominated the “College Comedian of the Year” for the second time in 2009. He has appeared on several television programs and is equally successful as a comedy writer. The MCC SAC invites the adult community to attend Jay Black’s comedy performance and laugh away the December blues.
