Brief descriptions of the plays are as follows:

“The Shock of His Life” A One Act Play by Donald Payton

This comedy centers around a typical middle class family. Dad is going to the doctor for his annual physical. Mom is going to the grocery store. One daughter is waiting for a call from her boyfriend. One daughter is experiencing some driving issues. The son is totally consumed in reading a comic book. And, of course, there is the neighborhood friend who spends a lot of time there. Sound familiar? Family communication is not the best, and a lot of things are to be learned.

“Pumpkin Stuffers” A Halloween Comedy by Geff Moyer

This comedy production includes a marathon of Halloween scenes that includes witches trying to fly without brooms, Frankenstein appearing as a guest on “This is Your Life”, Wolf Man visiting a gypsy fortuneteller and Dracula trying to sneak out for a night with the guys…..thirteen scenes in all. A great Halloween night!!

As background for readers, Wolf Creek Players (WCP) is a drama troupe that was formally organized after the GodSpell musical was performed by community members in the Springof 2009. The WCP board encourages residents of surrounding towns to become involved in the theatre’s productions. One of the reasons why Wolf Creek was included in the name of the theatre was to include actors, actresses and audiences from all surrounding communities where Wolf Creek travels through and beyond.

Produced by special arrangement with

Heuer Publishing LLC of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
