MARSHALLTOWN – The Iowa Valley Community College District Board of Directors will meet Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 4 p.m. in the District Office Board Room, 3702 S. Center St., Marshalltown. Barb Klein, IVCCD Dean of Enrollment Services will give a presentation on the fall 2010 14-day enrollment report.

The board will consider the following action items: approval of a bid for the 2010 Ellsworth Community College Student Housing project; acceptance of the final completion of the Reg Johnson Roof Replacement Project; resolution for 2010 Dormitory Revenue Bonds; contracted services agreement with School Districts; and a pass-through of Certified Nurse Aide Background Check Fee.

The Board is expected to approve a contract for the 260G Accelerated Career Education (ACE) Physical Infrastructure Assistance Contract in the amount of $366,666, for the Practical Nursing program at ECC. The funds will be used to renovate McClure Hall with an additional classroom and lab space.
