tamatoledonews.com – The Iowa Ranch Horse Association will hold two shows at the Central Iowa Fairgrounds in Marshalltown on Saturday, Sep. 18 and Sunday, Sep. 19. The Saturday show begins at 10:00 a.m; Sunday’s show begins at

9:00 a.m. Classes include Ranch Horse Pleasure, Versatility, Cutting,

Working Cow Horse, Ranch Roping and Conformation. Each class is

offered in Open, Novice/Amateur and Youth divisions. Prize money will

be awarded as paybacks for the top placing riders in every class.

Contestants must be IRHA members to enter; new members can join and

show the same day. Electrical hookups and stalls are available for a

small fee.

The Iowa Ranch Horse Association is a non-profit organization founded

in 1999 to promote the working horse, regardless of breed. IRHA

encourages good horsemanship, sportsmanship and proper handling of

cattle in a family-friendly environment. Classes are offered for all
