Jaryen Haughey

A Tama man is facing third degree sexual abuse charges.

The alleged victim, a 12 or 13 year old girl reported Jaryen Haughey, 19, had sexual inercourse with her on one occasion in January. The alleged sex act took place at The Ramada located at 525 33rd Suite Room number 524 in Cedar Rapids.

Haughey was arrested on a warrant at 10:02 p.m. Oct. 20 by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office. Bond was set at $20,000.

Haughey was released from jail after posting bond Oct. 27.

He is scheduled to appear in Linn County Court Tuesday.
