They fought like warriors in the scorching heat. With sweat glistening skin the teams ran around the field battling it out for the championship trophy. In the end, the Bobcats won 3 to 2 over Villchuato. The Marshalltown Premier League’s soccer at Toledo Heights Park saw an amazing turnout on Sunday, as large cheering crowds of people sat in the shade to watch the game.
The Bobcats’ win marks just the first championship of the year, as the second tournament begins soon enough. So, if you aren’t doing anything on a Sunday, head down to Toledo Heights Park and watch one of their amazing games.
