At Monday’s home Softball game against Mount Vernon, the up and coming Trojans were honored between games. Admitted free into the game, the team was announced between JV and Varsity action.

Being recognized was the fourth and fifth grade team while the second and third grade team was away at a game. Both teams play in the Marshalltown Girls Softball Association against various area teams.

STC Middle School Softball coach and Activities Director Chelsea Ahrens announced as the team of young players entered the field being greeted by varsity players and coaches.

Both Baseball and Softball teams hosted youth nights this season. Baseball Youth Night will be covered in next week’s sports page.
