The STC boys golf team captured their first WaMaC dual competition win of the season on Tuesday, April 24. The Boys Varsity won their first (9 holes) of the year against Vinton Shellsburg. South Tama shot a 167 to Vinton’s 177.

Varsity’s top four scores were Cam Klostermann, Rian Simpson, Carter Kriegel, and Brayden Smith. Cam Klostermann was a Medalist with a low score of 39. Rian Simpson shot a 43, Carter Kriegel 41 and Brayden Smith 44.

The Trojans followed their first win up with another conference win on Thursday, April 26. STC travelled to the Amana Colonies Country Club where they bested Clear Creek Amana 184 to 199.

Brayden Smith was a medalist taking 2nd place with a score of 43.
