South Tama employee, Tammy Weiss, was awarded with the Community Spirit Award before the start of STC’s game at the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Tournament on Tuesday,

Each coach from a state qualifying team was asked to nominate a person who exhibits sportsmanship from their community. The person selected is someone who cheers positively for all athletic events and supports the student athletes.
