Seven compete at AAU State Wrestling Tourney

Seven youth wrestlers from South Tama competed at the State AAU Tournament on Saturday, Feb 24.

STC AAU wrestlers included Marcus Bear (3rd/4th), Amare Chavez (5th/6th), Cyrus Mathes (5th/6th), Deja Sprague (5th/6th), Haydin Branan (7th/8th), Logan Arp (7th/8th) and Boden Koehler (7th/8th).

Logan Arp was the lone wrestler to place from Tama-Toledo. He won his quarterfinals match 6-0 which took him into the semi-finals. That secured him finishing in the top 6 and he finished 5th.
