Coming off of a two game winning streak on the road over Vinton and Williamsburg the Trojans were looking to keep the conference winning streak going. The STC Trojans girls basketball teams hosted Clear Creek-Amana on Friday, Dec. 15. CCA, however, came away with a 58-36 win over the Trojans.

The Clippers got out to a lead in the first quarter but the Trojans caught up and even took the lead throughout part of the second quarter. It was a physical game between the two teams and ultimately the Clippers ran away with the win in the fourth quarter. The absence of Tylese Rosenberger, who plays point guard for the Trojans, made a noticeable impact for the team. The Trojans really struggled from the three point line. They shot three of 23 in three point attempts.

Jessica Musgrave led the Trojans in scoring with 16 points. Musgrave also led in rebounds with 6 and had 7 steals.
