Ryne Mohrfeld son of Jason and Shannon Mohrfeld of Lisbon, Iowa placed 6th in the 126th weight division in Des Moines. Ryne is 16 and a sophomore at Lisbon High School. Jason Mohrfeld is a 1989 graduate of South Tama County schools.

Tate Murty age 17 and a junior at Cochrane-Fountain City in Fountain City, WI. Tate placed second in the 132 lb weight division at Madison, Wisconsin State Tournament. Tate is the son of Earl (Buzz) and Jan (Mohrfeld) Murty, both graduates of STC. Buzz is the head wrestling coach at C-FC.

The boys are grandsons of George and Suzanne (Sue) Mohrfeld of Tama. Other grandparents are Gretchen Feldmann of Lisbon, Scott Hickson of Iowa City, Earl Murty of Traer and Sherry Chopman of Cedar Falls.

Lisbon High School wresting team placed first at the tournament in 2017.
