Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Wins own Select Meet

WAVERLY, Iowa– The Wartburg women’s outdoor track and field team won its own Select Meet with 248 points. The Knights finished ahead of Division I opponent, Northern Iowa.

The Orange and Black won six events as senior Becca Cherry (Waverly) claimed both the 100 and 200m dashes.

100m dash: Cherry, 12.57

200m dash: Cherry, 26.25

800m run: Taylor Officer, 2:15.97 (At press time, ranks 13th in DIII)

400m hurdles: Aubree Taylor, 1:04.13

4x400m relay: 3:57.32 (Ranks sixth in DIII at press time)

4x800m relay: 9:28.66
