UNI Golf Places 5th at Bradley Invitational

PEORIA, Illinois – The University of Northern Iowa women’s golf team placed fifth, with two players finishing in the top 15, at the Bradley Invitational on Sunday.

After a weather delay during the second round on Saturday, the teams completed the remaining nine holes and the third round on Sunday.

The Panthers completed the 72-par course at the Weaver Ridge Golf Course with scores of 312-294-311, for a total of 917.

Allison Rolinger led the Panthers with scores of 76-72-77 which landed her tied for seventh. Wrapping up the back nine of the second round, Rolinger birdied No. 10, No. 11, and No. 15 to have her at par. In the third round, Rolinger birdied No. 3 and was able to par 11 holes, with seven being in the back nine.

Paige Van Dyk finished tied for 29th with scores of 80-77-77. Her strong third round finish with 14 pars, moved her up from 38th on day one.

Next up for the Panthers will be the Indiana State Spring Invitational April 9-10.
