The Meskwaki Warriors girls varsity basketball team started out last week with a win over Cedar Valley Christian on Monday night, Dec. 5.

The Warriors won 51-32 on their home floor.

The Colo-NESCO girls handed the Meskwaki Varsity girls basketball team its first loss of the season in 56-41 last Tuesday night.

Tina Thompson paced Meskwaki with 15 points and Kadyn Clark had 10.

Going into last weekend’s action, the Meskwaki Warrior girls had a 3-1, 2-1 record.

They faced Don Bosco at the Meskwaki gym on Friday night after Chronicle deadline and take on North Tama’s 4th-ranked team tonight, Dec. 13, also at home.
