You’ll Figure It Out: Good old mother!

John Sheda

Wow! A day to honor all the Mothers. That special day that the kids and Dad do all the household chores and come Monday, Mom has to try to clean up the mess in the kitchen, fix the vacuum cleaner, rearrange the dishes, pot and pans into their proper places and also try to figure out how anyone could fit so many clothes of so many different colors in the washing machine. And then to call to have the washing machine repaired. “But” Mom exclaims, “at least they tried.” So here’s a huge hug to all the Mom out there in Tama News land. Hope you enjoy it.

My Mother had a great deal of trouble with me but I think deep down, way deep down, she actually enjoyed it…………..after I moved out.

A Mom is like a superhero without the cape.

A Mother’s love is very much like a lighthouse because it guides us through life’s struggles.

Mother’s are the first friend we have and the last one we lose.

Mom’s loving touch is simply magic; it heals every wound.

If at first you don’t succeed, stop and listen to your Mother and then do it the way she suggested in the first place.

“Hey Mom, I really love your super long voicemails.”

Daughter- “Every day I wake up and wonder how in the world did I end up so much like my Mother.”

There’s an old saying that God can’t always be everywhere, any time and every place so he invented mothers.

Mother’s hold their children’s hands for a few short years but their hearts forever.

Life doesn’t come with a manual but it does come with a Mother.

A Mom’s hug lasts long after she’s let go.

To the world you’re simply a Mother but to your family, YOU ARE THE WORLD.

Motherhood requires some love, hope, patience and a whole lot of humor.

Having a Mother is like having a friend, coach and cheerleader all at the same time.

So to all the Moms out there, enjoy your day. Happy Mother’s Day. And to all you husbands — treat your wife special, because she is one very special lady. Ok, Deb, do you forgive me now?
