Remember this old adage? It clearly states my thoughts and opinions today. The Proof’s in the pudding my friend!!!

In 1962 on a 6-1 decision, the United States Supreme Court held that reciting government-written prayers in public schools was unconstitutional, violating the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. This is the audacious prayer that changed the course of the United States of America.

“Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon Thee and we beg Thy blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers and our country, Amen.”

That’s it! And with that, prayer in the public school system was doomed. And, (in my opinion), the downward spiral of the foundational structure of our country commenced. The lone dissenting vote in this historic decision came from Chief Justice Potter Stewart who contended that the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment was written to abolish the idea of a “state-sponsored church,” and not to stop a “non-mandatory & brief non-denominational prayer.”

In 1973, the Supreme Court changed the course of moral history again by legalizing abortion. We also have no-fault divorce, no definition of marriage and people basically doing what they feel is right in their own eyes. Freud and others brought in the idea that we are products of our environment, therefore not actually accountable for our actions, (notice the rioters across our country). Next this lead people to seeing them selves as victims so that blame for their actions can be placed elsewhere.

Darwin asserts we sort of, kind of just, you know, evolved from some amoeba or something like that. From some goo to a zoo to YOU! Now think about all of this, No control over our impulses, products of our environment, life no longer considered precious, a victim mentality and humanity evolving from the lowest form possible. Is this what we want????? Is this who we are????

Our moral compass is gone. I leave you this from the Word of God, (2 Chronicles 7:14): If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

In the most basic and simplistic terms possible……………..The United States of America needs to ask God back and experience a spiritual renewal like never before. We became the greatest nation on the face of the earth in less than 200 years because of of our Judeo-Christian heritage and we need to get it back.
