Toledo Farmers Market

Dawn Troutner

Market Report for October 12, 2018

What a wet cool night for the Toledo Farmers’ Market. There was a slight crowd and a handful of vendors on this Friday night. The fact that it was Homecoming kept vendors and customers away, but the most important factor was the weather.

Kristi baked light for this Friday night. She had twistys, kolaches, rolicky, rolls, pies, cookies, and breads.

Caryn brought assortment of jams, jellies, popcorn and snack mixes.

Michael and Shirley arrived with noodles, rolicky, kolaches, bismarks, cream puff shells, and sliced angel food cake.

Chuck and Ginger brought pies, breads, walnut meats, eggs, potatoes, fall baskets, gourds, pumpkins, hot and green peppers, cucumbers, winter squash, egg plant and squirrel corn.

Janet moved on up a few spots and brought cookies, breads and eggs.

There are only three weeks of market left. Let’s hope Mother Nature plays nice the next couple of weeks. See you at market.
