John’s Graduation Test!

Reading this column requires some standards. High standards! We don’t just accept anyone. There are some rigorous requirements one must pass through. One of them is passing the final exam to see if you can continue to enjoy this column each and every week. We sure hope you are ready, prepared and have studied well. The exams starts………………NOW!

1. If you are facing NORTH and turn ninety degrees to your right, what direction are you now facing?

2. 1/2 of 1/4 of 1/10 of 400 is what??

3. If you were to round of the number 350 to the nearest hundred, would it be 300, 400 or either one since it’s the same distance either way?

4. Counting from one to one hundred, how many sevens would you pass along the way?

5. What 3 letters can you put in front of each of these words, “tract, sign, done, found, firm & dense” to form different words?

6. What are the Capitols of these states; New Hampshire, North Carolina, Arizona, Delaware, Kentucky?

7. Fill in the blanks; “60 s________ in an h____________.

8. Fill in the blanks; “12 s___________ of the z__________.

9. The square root of 16 plus the square root of nine is the square root of what number?

10. Fill in the blanks; “Seven w______ of the w_________.

That’s it!! Good luck. Five right or less and you will have to sign up for “Sheda’s Summer School Program.” Trust me, it isn’t fun. If you get six or seven right, well, you just made it by the skin of your teeth and if you get eight or nine correct, you must have cheated!!
