I have more information about the April 23, 2017 event to take place at the Wieting Theatre.

The Smithsonian Music Project is being presented by the Historical Society in conjunction with Humanities Iowa. It’s is called “Traveling Music Museum” by Bob and Sheila Eberhart of Anita, Iowa.

Bob has performed on our stage twice. He is the booker and was the opening act for Rex Reeves.

I know this is quite a ways away down the road, but I want you to know about it and write it on your own calendar. Oh, yes, it is free.

We are doing our fine arts series a different way this year. Every event is free and is talent that is around our state. We have a lot of talented people and we plan to make use of them.
