Cameron McCoy works for Iowa Public Television as a writer, producer and a director.

As a special project he is making a documentary about old theatres and opera houses in Iowa.

The idea is how do you save these businesses and after you save them how do you help them continue?

He figures it will take him 6 to 8 months to get this documentary all together and ready to take to one of the film festivals in Chicago that take place in the fall of 2016.

Will Toledo be showing this documentary? I hope so. Toledo Opera House will be one of the theatres visited for this film
