Market Report for May 1 2015

It is that time of year. The Toledo Farmers Market will be starting on May 1. The last day of market will be October 30. We are in our same market place, east side of the courthouse. We are at our same market time, 5-7 p.m. on Friday nights. Be sure to come out to market and greet your favorite vendor. And greet a few new vendors.

I am sure we will have plenty of homemade sweet treats. Cookies, breads, cinnamon rolls, pies, jams, jellies, snack mixes, kolaches, and rolicky. There will be home grown popcorn, pepper powder, dried herbs, and rhubarb. There might be some asparagus, green onions, spinach, or lettuce. There are a few crafty vendors also. I am excited to see what new items they made over the winter. I am sure there will be plenty of farm fresh eggs. You need to come out and see what you can find at the Toledo Farmers Market.
